I miss those daily affirmations of love.

The glorification of “living your life” as something that is purely an individual endeavor is bullshit. Your life is influenced by everyone you’ve ever known; you are everyone you have encountered. Living your life should be recognized as a process that involves everyone you care about, and it should be understood that our lives are complex social processes that involve frequent engagement with others. To think, at any point, that living your life can be done truly on your own is ignorant of the actual nature of human existence.

Today I am having a really difficult day.
